On May 25, 2026, Cummins held the ceremony of Cummins Centennial Mining China Tour & Delivery of Domestically Produced QSK60 Mining Engines at Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., its global intelligent manufacturing base for high-horsepower engines.
During the event, Cummins and XCMG Group jointly delivered the first domestically made QSK60 mining engine to the Yimin customer. This marks a new milestone in Cummins’ localized manufacturing and delivery capability of high-power mining powertrains in China and reaffirms its long-term commitment to further developing China’s mining market.
Representatives from OEM manufacturers including XCMG Group, Inner Mongolia North Hauler Joint Stock Co., Ltd., Sany Heavy Machinery, LiuGong Group and CMEC, as well as multiple mining clients, attended the ceremony.
