On June 11 local time, the 16th Astana Mining & Metallurgy Conference 2026 kicked off in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan. Alzhan Bektanov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, attended the plenary session and delivered a keynote speech.
Invited by the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yang Dongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of XCMG Group & XCMG Machinery, was present at the plenary session. Liu Jiansen, Vice President of XCMG Machinery, and Wang Feng, General Manager of XCMG Central Asia Region, accompanied him to the event.
On June 12, the XCMG Forum on Zero-carbon Intelligent Mine Solutions was successfully held in Astana. Centering on the core demands for green transformation and intelligent upgrading of mines across Central Asia, the forum gathered renowned local mining enterprises for in-depth exchanges and discussions on the construction of zero-carbon mines and the application of intelligent technologies.
